Another Life is Possible!
See you soon
Our event, Another Life is Possible: Living Well in the Age of the Machine, is just around the corner!
Some highlights of the weekend include:
Friday: A panel on “The Human and the Machine” with Charles Carman, Susannah Black Roberts and Grant Martsolf followed by a keynote conversation with Joe Allen and Farahn Morgan, and a dinner conversation with Ruth and Peco Gaskovski (School of the Unconformed)
Saturday: A keynote by Bill Kauffman, a full day of sessions including discussions on resisting the machine within the home with Tessa Carman, Dominick Baruffi and Maureen Swinger; a session on craft with Gord Magill (Autonomous Truck(er)s), Brandon Daily and Patrick Lemmon; reflections on new romanticism with Matthew Gasda and Anthony Galluzzo, followed by a keynote panel including Chris Arnade and A.M. Hickman.
Sunday: We will conclude with a worship service with the Bruderhof community and a farewell breakfast.
There will, of course, also be singing and dancing, catching fireflies, sitting around a campfire, sharing libations and meals, children running underfoot, friendships formed, and memories made.
Ticket sales end July 6, and there are less than 10 tickets left. Hope to see you there!
